Even more than an off-the-hook music festival, the vending scene at FloydFest is above and beyond what you'll find at any other event!
Over one hundred fine art vendors line the fields and walkways, with displays ranging from one-of-a-kind jeweler, pottery and sculpture, hand made instruments, paintings and photography, to clothing, metalwork, hats hammocks and more. Moreover, the food vendors are thoughtfully selected for their high quality and menu variations: food offerings range from brick oven pizza to fish tacos to organic vegan fare, with everything in between. Shop 'til you drop!

We are no longer accepting vendor applications for 2010. Please look for the 2011 Application in January 2011.
NEW **2010 Composting RequirementsAcross The Way Productions includes a robust waste management program within Floyd Fest operations, and vendors are a key partner in this effort. We have easy accessibility to compost operations nearby in Riner and we are planning on Waste Management assisting with additional recycling efforts for glass, plastic, and aluminum. Glass is the most difficult item to recycle and should be avoided if possible.
Following are the items required of vendors for Floyd Fest 2010 to make our program successful. In addition, please note that proper sorting of waste and active participation in our environmentally-based waste mgmt. program is also expected of all vendors. Suggestions for improvement are always welcomed!
First rule is to always minimize the items given out with any foodservice. In particular, straws, bags, & utensils are often given out unnecessarily. Finally, please minimize the use of single-serve items such as ketchup packets, mini butter-tubs, and plastic wrapping (only use if no alternative exists) as well as plastic lids (usually say “PS #6” on them)
Required food-service-ware items:
- Certified compostable hot and cold cups (both paper and “corn plastic” cups). - Certified compostable utensils. - Certified compostable straws. - Paper or other fiber-based plates, trays, bowls, clamshells, boats, and other containers - OK to have but not required: wax paper
The following are not allowed: - Styrofoam - Plastic cups, straws, bowls of any size, tubs, utensils (petroleum-based) - Combinations that are difficult to separate, such as wax paper and aluminum foil |
